Now is the time to get out on good days, walk your garden and see what needs attention. Are there things you can do at the moment, like finish the last of the leaf removal? Now is also the time to figure out what you want to plant in spring and pour over those seed catalogs to have seeds on hand.
There will, of course, be other jobs that you can’t handle yourself. Not everyone wants to or can repaint the patio furniture. This is the time to send it to a restorer. If you wait until spring, the restorer may be too busy, and the price is sure to be higher.
